About Gilbertson Spray Foam
At Gilbertson Spray Foam, we are female owned and operated. Established in 2024, with 3 years of experience insulating, prior to becoming its own business. Gilbertson Spray Foam is based out of Tracy, MN. Makyah Gilbertson (owner) previously worked for "Wahl Spray Foam Insulation" out of Walnut Grove, MN before buying their spray foam trailer and blower truck in 2024. Makyah was taught by Wahl's 15 year experienced owner and continues to further her knowledge every day in the insulation field to provide the best possible services for you!

Rim joists are major sources of air leaks, spray foam seals all gaps, cracks, and joints, where outside air can get in. It resists moisture reducing risk of mold and rot in Joist cavities.
Stop rain from getting into your buildings from missed nail holes or rusted out tin by spraying an inch of foam on your ceiling and stop condensation from dripping on to your things inside!
Spray metal roofs to Insulate and prevent rust, when cattle barns are not protected the condensation will start to rust the metal and lead to a much shorter barn life!
Blowing in fiberglass insulation can be beneficial, better coverage, thermal efficiency, wont settle, environmentally stable, non-corrosive.
Blowing in cellulose insulation is also beneficial more commonly used in hogbarns for its density and it's better suited for the harsh, dirty, moist environment.
The fiberglass blown in blanket system is the second best choice if you don't want to spend the spray foam money. With the blanket system you get a better R-value than the batt insulation. Can also retrofit blow in insulation in the walls if you don't want to replace your sheetrock.

Our spray foam insulation provides an airtight seal, reducing energy costs and providing superior thermal performance. Spray foam insulation also acts as a moisture barrier, helping to prevent mold growth. We apply 2lb closed cell spray foam distributed by NCFI.
-Fiberglass Attic Blow Ins:
Our Fiberglass attic blow-in insulation is an effective way to improve energy efficiency in your home. It's light weight, non-combustible, and can fill gaps and voids in your attic to keep your home warm in winter and cool in summer. This type of insulation is ideal for existing homes and can be easily added to improve your home. R-50 is the recommended R-value when installing fiberglass to your home/work space.
-Cellulose Attic Blow Ins:
Cellulose insulation is made from recycled paper products and is treated for fire resistance. It's an eco-friendly option that provides excellent thermal performance and soundproofing and a dense layer of insulation. Most commonly used in hog barns.
